PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Artis Center for Adaptive Innovation and Creativity is a dynamic, multi-functional space designed to inspire creativity, and serve as a center for education, research, and community engagement. Spanning 178,000 SF, it is the largest academic building on campus and represents the largest capital construction project in the history of Radford University. ACI is proud to contribute to this landmark project by providing expert HVAC and Plumbing services, helping the facility meet the university’s vision for innovation and sustainability.

The mechanical scope included approximately 600 tons of installed cooling capacity, over 425,000 pounds of ductwork fabrication and installation, and required roughly 100,000 manhours to complete the mechanical systems construction.

This project was completed August 2024.
