PROJECT DESCRIPTION

ACI served as the Mechanical Trade Contractor for the conversion of an existing warehouse to a state of the art food and beverage GMP production facility. We performed the full mechanical installation of the production line first and completed the HVAC installation inside of the operating plant.

To prepare for the process installation, we started with the civil and structural work which included concrete slabs, loading dock and ramp modifications along with structural steel building enhancements to carry process design elements and full HVAC installations for the facility. The process portion of this GMP project included bulk material receiving and unloading in the truck bays, air-vey and chain-vey dry materials conveyance throughout, green bean silos and storage, bean roasters, flavoring center, bagging and grinding stations and packing lines.

In addition, the installation of two Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers through the roof for the roasting process along with all structural modifications needed to carry those loads. Roof mounted steel platforms for support and access for RTO’s and rooftop AHU’s were fabricated and installed by ACI.
